Accessibility
Last updated: October 10, 2026
I want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control or zoom. If something doesn't work for you, please tell me and I'll fix it.
What I aim for
I build this site to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard most accessibility experts use. I review it again whenever I make changes.
What that looks like here
- Text has strong contrast in both light and dark mode.
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link at the top of the page.
- Form fields have clear labels, and the form tells screen readers when your message is sent.
- Decorative icons are hidden from screen readers, and the moving examples in the service cards have short text descriptions.
- Animations turn off if your device is set to reduce motion, and the examples in the service cards play once, for less than five seconds.
- The page works when zoomed in and on small screens, without scrolling sideways.
- The "Ask my AI" chat works with a keyboard, the Escape key closes it, and screen readers hear each reply once it's complete. You can always email me or use the contact form instead.
Found a problem?
Please email me at jay@jayjohnsonai.com or use the contact form. Let me know which page and what happened, and I'll work on a fix and get back to you. If you'd like the information on this site in a different way, just ask.
